But some information was withheld that increased my premiums (I didnt want to have my driving monitored). It seems like I wouldn't have found out about until I was charged or I had asked. I wish this had been laid out clearly from the beginning."

It is never our intent to withhold any information about this program from any of our customers, as participation is completely voluntary. When you initially signed up with State Farm you elected to participate in the program, which gave you a discount on your policy of around 8%. This program is designed to help safe drivers save money on their auto insurance premiums - with savings up to 30% after driving data has been collected. When you elected to un-enroll from the program, that initial 8% discount fell off. Brian or any member of our team would be happy to connect with you any time to help us improve our processes, especially as it relates to the Drive Safe & Save program. "
